Cacao Avocado Mousse
This sweet treat is chocolatey enough to curb cravings but packed with Ayurvedic super-herbs including Shatavari, Ashwagandha and Maca. Shatavari balances hormones and can improve fertility, Ashwagandha boosts the reproductive system and reduces monthly pains, and Maca enhances energy, strength and libido. When used together in this recipe, it results in healthy but deliciously rich and moreish pudding that has adaptogenic and aphrodisiac qualities.
300ml Coconut Milk
1 tsp Vanilla Extract
1 tbsp Love Cacao Latte Powder
Cut the Avocado in half, remove the stone and scoop out the flesh with a spoon.
In a blender, add the Avocado flesh, Coconut Milk, Deja Love Cacoa Powder, Vanilla Extract and Dates.
Blend until creamy and smooth.
Transfer the mousse into 4 dessert ramekins and refrigerate for at least 1 hour.
Serve with crushed Pistachios or a sprinkling of Coconut, and then sit down to enjoy!
Glow Wild Gut-Friendly Gummies
Molly Dovey at The Gut Instinct (@thegut.instinct) sent us wild with her recipe for Gut-Friendly Gummies which are made with our Glow Wild Rose Latte Powder. Jam-packed with a blend of skin purifying and cooling herbs, this latte powder is your answer to a glowing and healthy complexion. Rose Powder is used for its anti-inflammatory properties, Sariva because of its ability to soothe and clear complexions and Manjistha for its detoxification qualities. Coconut Milk Powder is also added for flavour and its anti-ageing properties, and Rose is said to nourish the heart and mind. And all ingredients are gut-approved by Molly, for a healthy happy tummy.
1 cup Whole Fat Coconut Milk
120ml Cold Water
1 tbsp Glow Wild Rose Latte Powder
2-4 tbsp Maple Syrup (depending on how sweet you’d like them)
1 ½ tsp Agar Powder
In a small saucepan, and over a medium to high heat, whisk together the ingredients.
Once it reaches a rolling boil, turn off the heat and carefully pour the mixture into your mould. The jelly will start to set straight away so have your mould ready.
Allow this to set for 10 minutes and leave to cool by refrigerating overnight or for at least 1 hour.
Pop out the jellies from the mould and you’re good to go!
Golden Milk Smoothie Bowl
You may have heard of Golden Milk, an ancient Ayurvedic recipe that gives energy levels a push in the right direction and boosts immunity. This quick and easy smoothie bowl is another take on Ayurveda's popular daily tonic and is a great way to kickstart your morning. Plus, it contains our Gold Power Latte Powder which blends Turmeric, Ashwagandha, Cinnamon and Cardamom. Turmeric has huge anti-inflammatory and antioxidant properties, Ashwagandha has been proven to strengthen immunity, and both Cinnamon and Cardamom are great for digestion and congestion and have an incredible taste!
2 frozen Bananas
100ml Coconut Milk
2 tsp Glow Power Latte Powder
1 tsp Ginger
½ tsp Cinnamon
½ tsp Nutmeg
2 tbsp Maple Syrup/Honey
Place all of the ingredients into a blender or food processor.
Blend until smooth and creamy.
Pour into your bowl of choice and top with your favourite toppings. If you’re asking us, we like fresh fruit, granola and flaked coconut.
Deja Latte Martini
This next recipe can either be made with vodka if you’re drink-friendly, or is equally delicious with a zero alcohol alternative. Either way, if you’re looking for a fun drink with added health benefits to say cheers to the weekend, this is an easy option and can be knocked up in minutes!
30ml Vanilla Vodka (or a zero alcohol alternative)
60ml Cream Liqueur
90ml Deja Latte Powder of your choice
Pour all the ingredients into a steel cup or cocktail shaker, add ice and cover securely. Alternatively, put that large water bottle or thermos to good use!
Shake the vessel vigorously once it’s closed, until the ice disappears or has begun to melt.
Strain, if required. If not, pour into a highball glass or mason jar.
Garnish with Cinnamon, grated Chocolate or whatever you fancy.
Cacao, Rose & Strawberry Pudding
This pudding is a heavenly combination of creamy chocolate, fragrant rose, and fruity strawberry. It makes for a delicious yet healthy dessert packed with Glow Wild Rose Latte powder, for dewy and healthy skin.
250ml non-dairy milk (almond is our favourite)
4-5 tbsp (or to taste) date syrup
1 tbsp Love Cacao powder
3 tbsp Cacao powder
1/2 tsp rosewater
1 tsp Glow Wild powder
1 tsp Vanilla extract
1. First, make the strawberry layer. Blend the strawberries with 2 tbsp date syrup in a blender. If you want a thicker and more syrupy consistency, place it in a saucepan over low-medium heat until reduced. Cool before use.
2. To make the chocolate layer, blend the avocado, Love Cacao powder, Glow Wild powder, milk, rosewater, vanilla, and the remaining date syrup into a smooth pudding. Refrigerate for 30 minutes before serving.
3. Layer the strawberry and chocolate mixtures equally between 2 serving glasses. We love to top each with coconut cream, flaked almonds and a dusting of rose petals!
